Needs to be on a vps or dedicated, need to install the open meetings package from http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/
Will not work on shared. Just heads up
thank you very much gave me to think lol
Peggy Sue, I just added a couple of screenshots.
Tack.
looks like an interesting plugin. I will test it :)
Hi Krasi ! Thank you very much for the plugin.
I have it working with Elgg 1.7.8 and OpenMeetings 1.6.2-r3675. Looks like you need to use the standard OM system for most of the more exotic functions but the ability to create a conference room and tie it to a group, or even a community wide conference space is really nice!
Thanks again, good work!
Hi Krasi, thanks for developing this interesting plugin.
I tried to use it, however it showed an error message: "wsdl error: Bad path to WSDL file http://:/openmeetings/services/UserService?wsdl". I wonder whether or not it is a connection issue.
If so, could you kindly give me the instructions on how I can set up the plugin so that it connects to my VPS where Openmeetings is hosted?
Thanks again,
Wercules
first i want to thank you a lot for this great blugin=)
i have the same problem with the error message : error message: "wsdl error: Bad path to WSDL file http://:/openmeetings/services/UserService?wsdl". i think it needs really a vps service from the hosting provider, or its just a compatibility problem ?
Solved
1)Administration > Openmeetings
OpenMeetings Server Host or IP : < hostname or ip where your openmeetings is hosted >
OpenMeetings Server Port: 5080
OpenMeetings Admin User: <openmeetings user>
OpenMeetings Admin User Password: <openmeetings password>
OpenMeetings Module key (vary for multiple instances using same OpenMeetings Server: <blank>

Hi to all! I just installed "Open meetinngs" plug in but I realy dont know how to use it. Do I need server/dedicated server in order to have conference call. HELP!!!
ZoranM, you need to install OpenMeetings in order to use this plugin. This in most cases requires a dedicated server. Please check the OpenMeetings website for installation instructions.
Thanks Krasi for the replay. I have already installed this plug-in but i was just wondering if I need dedicated server. I'll check the website from OpenMeetings for more details. All best!
Elgg Release - 1.7.7, Version - 2010071002 and Openmeetings 1.8.7r4518
Followed all of the instructions in this group and when I attempt to connect i get:
Error
Above the toolbar, and an Openmeetings "invalid hash" popup.
any known fix?
Is the OpenMeetings installation configured via Elgg Administration > Openmeetings ?
@krasi, yes it is
Krasi:
Do you have it to Elgg 1.8?

@krasi
