@Lord55 I am trying to disable embedly.js from metatags and after disabling it everything is working fine except riverdashboard video , when we click on any video entry in riverdashboard it is not open it send us to top of the page.........I really want to disable the js as we have no other use of that. please take a look into this when you get time....

Hi all. I have made many tests and unfortunately the plugin not work well for me. With Api key or without. Without api key can operate for a time, maybe 8 hours or 2 minutes, but sooner or later cease to embed media and only see links. With Api key does not work and also make the dropdown menu stop working. I'm sorry, cause when it works is great and I love it. I don't know much about this, but could be some sort of conflict with other jquery scripts? Sorry for my bad english.

@adminer try to use this plugin with extended embed plugin everything will work as expected.....

I love this plug in.But Ive upgraded to elgg 1.8 and it doesnt work very well in 1.8. Any hope for an upgrade?

Thanks ghumanz. I'm using Emdeb extended (which really works well but only for video) but NME still not working correctly. Now also gives me an error when trying to upload multimedia: Could not resolve host 'api.embed.ly'

Anyone know what this error may be caused and how to solve?

@ghumaz really less time to testing it. there is a version for 1.8 to test.

for embedly, it works but  you need a key to take on their site and inserti it like in this script:

@rjcalifornia Move riverdashboard plugin below this plugin then there is no mess with nav.php , I am using it on my site with elgg 1.7.8 without any problem to dashboard layout.
