@Rafael: The plugin should work with 1.9.6. I saw the API changes. But I will make some testes and release a new version soon (Maybe weekend). I swear. :)
Great to hear that.... obirgado :). In the meanwhlile, I hope to finish the Spanish translation up to tomorrow so you can included in your next version. That would be my first contribution to this community :)
Regarding to the translation:
'oi_invitefriends:introduction' => 'To invite friends to join you on this network, enter their email addresses below (one per line):',
How can I put a variable there to support that says the name of the network instead of using "in this network" I see that in other places you use the %s, but I don't understand how that magical %s works ;)
Regards,
Rafael
I think I did not explain well my problem.
I can import contacts from gmail and hotmail. Facebook thinks I am bad fellow and haven't investigate how to fix this.
The error comes when I send the mail. I get this:
Email missing.
Password missing.
Provider missing.
Nothing in the Apache error log.
Regards,
Rafael
mmm.... sendin mail does not work with gmail, but works with hotmail. To bad I don't have that much contacts in hotmail to test.
regards,
Rafael
I would lilke to try this in my production ELGG 1.8 version.
Does that work in 1.8 too?
@Purus: Maybe. We need some tests. :)
Works perfectly in 1.8 version. Recommended.
But it does not work in my localhost. Any help?
I get a blank page only.
not working...
Fatal error: Class 'OpenInviter' not found in /home/cristoci/public_html/bt/mod/oi_invitefriends/oi_invitefriends.php on line 4
@Purus: What happens?
@Quinhoar: You need to download the Openinviter API and put in the right place. Check my instructions and call me if you need some help.
When I try to enable the plugin my localhost, nothing shows up. It's just a blank page. But itworks fine in the production site.
Any problem with the OpenInviter when using with localhost?
@Purus: Should work.
Voce fala portugues eu sou Brasileiro , e deu Certo Agora esta tudo ok!
I am not sure, why its not showing up in my localhost.
Sorry for the dealy in response.
there is a limit of contact for care?...
when one has many contacts, it does not allow you to import, help
message the appears
unable to connect to server
Yes, I get the same issue as Purus. The oi_invitefriends page turns blank. I tested on Elgg 1.7.5 and 1.7.10 both on my web server as well as my local lamp server.
As said, it works like a charm in my live server and not in localhost. Sounds strange.
@Shouvik: Works in your live server?
@Purus: Must be a config problem. Check the cookies path and writing permissions.
Nope, doesn't work on web-server either.
working with 1.8 :) thanks :) :)
@Shouvik: Must be a permissions problem. The cookie path plugins need full write permission. Try to store the cookies in ELGG´s data folder. I will release a new version checking if the openinviter API is in the correct path. It´s a bug.
whichever provider i select, i get the error "Unable to import Contacts". Please help what should i do.

@Malik: Wait for a new version with system check. I am still busy now, but my plugins is estill being updated.
@Dinesh: Same to you. I migrate spam_login_filter to 1.8. I will do that for openinviter as soon as possible.
