Menu Builder v1.1.1

Release Notes

  • changed: updated dutch translations
  • fixed: can't delete menu item
  • fixed: some php warnings
  • @ura and @tiago these menu items are currently untranslatable

  • ok - i can visualise a ui change that allows us to add multiple versions of the label for each menu item, one for each active language.
or possibly a connecting of menu_builder into translation_editor where a dynamic list is maintained of the menu_builder items to allow their translation.
this is quite necessary if the translations are going to be of much use.. if we cannot navigate the site then what is translated will never be seen. :(

  • I'm getting this warning with version 1.1 and 1.1.1 running on Elgg 1.8.6:

PHP WARNING: 2013-05-10 09:28:35 (PDT): "Illegal offset type" in file /home/mysite/public_html/mod/menu_builder/lib/hooks.php (line 110)

    Any ideas how to fix?

  • I am not able to add new tab for the existing menu, I ahve menu with 9 tab, now I'm trying to add new tab with url, but its overwriting the existing tab or not adding , but i'm getting successfull saved message, please help me come out of this.

  • Hola me gustaria saber si alguien pudo implementar este plugin junto con el plugin del tema de facebook? gracias saludoos!

  • @Jeroen Dalsem I'm seeing a problem with logged_out settings... it's simply not showing for logged out people. I saw this has ben raised before but I did not see a work around for it. I looked through the code but couldn't determine where the error was -- although I'm thinking it could be line 12 of /lib/hooks.php in the SQL where (is it looking for Public AND logged out?). I'm new to the Elgg community so I'm still trying to figure out how plugins integrate into the api (but almost there).

Thanks for this great plugin. It really should be part of core.

  • @inca usually illegal offset means the array couldn't find what was asked of it (aka, not items in the array). I'd guess try deleting the menu items and re-adding them.

  • I can't go beyond add items to menu.

    • The add icon takes me to a new page istead of the pop up dialog.
    • When I click on the gear icon it does nothing.
    • I'm not abble to rearrange menu items.

Clearly the plugin is not working properly.

Please, is there anyone who can help me with this?
