@Charles : Check the start.php and you can see the code of checking the username. Just remove that and it will be fine for your needs
I'm getting hit pretty hard from Chinese spammers, sometimes one a minute. They are using unique usernames/email addresses so not sure if marking them as spammers will help, but I'll continue doing it. Also found the IP address is missing on a lot of registrations, I guess they have a way of blocking their IP address? Anyone else finding this?
Does this prevent spam bots too or only spam humans?
