is there a way to have a global tree? I'm trying to add folders to a specific container that I created but I didn't manage to do so for the moment. If you have any suggestion ;)

I don't know what you mean. There is a tree per user and per group. No tree for the whole site.

Have you tried running upgrade.php, beacause $(obj).closest is a jQuery function, so if this isn't working more things shouldn't work.

this plugin will be replace by another plugin (file_tools). File tools is currently under development and will receive an 1.8 upgrade before the end of March.

Hi Jerome, I was going to upgrade this for 1.8 if you had no plans to, but I see you have something in the works.  Do you have an updated ETA for file_tools?
