Release Notes
Installation:
- Download the plugin and extract it.
- The extracted folder contains two plugins - riverdashboard and friend_request. Replace the default riverdashboard of elgg inside the /elgg/mod directory with the new one. Installing the friend_request plugin is optional
- Enable from the Tools Administration page.
- You might need to run the upgrade script ie. http://URL.TLD/upgrade.php
- Try to put the plugin close to the bottom on the Tools Administration page of your Elgg site.
- If you are using plugins like River Comments and Likes, make sure they reside below this plugin.
To Do:
- Partly widgetisation of the riverdashboard.
- Implementing import contacts and invite them right from the dashboard.
- Access level for the wire on the dashboard.
- Put delete buttons on the wire entries
Tested with Elgg 1.7.1 (a couple of links could be broken), 1.7.5, 1.7.6 and 1.7.7 on all major browsers. Preferred support is given to those who have either donated $25 or keep the link to my site in the right sidebar.

I was going to launch the plugin a bit earlier actually. But moving completely to linux on my home computer took a bit of time. :/

I , however, have 2 questions: a) Is it ok to remove your link that appears on top of the friend-request plugin? If so, where do I do that? b) How to add other widgets on either side panel?

Can you put a delete on the wire entries so you could deleted from the dashboard?????
Shouvik, i like the plugin very much. But it disabled the plugin river_comments and Likes. Can you solve that?

my wire box length is not coming in proper dimensions.....it has crossed into the right column..ne idea??
@Pradeep Possibly, some other plugin is overriding the width.? Trying placing it close to the bottom, run the upgrade script and see what happens.
When i enable your plugin the river_comments and Likes plugins will not show up anymore in the riverdashboard.
few questions before I give it a bash , does likes and river comments work ok ? never mind will install and see :)
hmm css is not happy , goes crazy , although I do have pluggins installed which may be affecting it .
in short :::::::: wire is at base , no 3 coloums .. will post with further info

Do what jaxcatz said. Put this Riverdashboard close to bottom and make sure other dashboard components such as the likes and river_comments reside below it.

@pegasus81 Have you followed the installation guide properly and have hit the upgrade script?
I followed the installation guide and ran the script but nothing. I use elgg 1.7.6 and easyphp. Please help me.

Is there a way to get the template to work on the whole dashboard? I can only get it to work on one page.
@pegasus81 I haven't tested with Elgg 1.7.6. Let me run some tests and get back to you.
@Lwarrenent I am sorry, but I didn't get what you are saying. This plugin is supposed transform the default dashboard of Elgg into a three columned sophisticated dashboard. So, this shouldn't affect the site at all, making possible to install other templates alongside.
If you are looking for templates, please search the community plugins page. There are plenty of that.
