Just made some modifications to the original* plugin for performance and utility purposes.
The original version (1.0.6) gets all "fivestar" annotations for every entity related to fivestar, I just save the needed information at rate time as metadata and then use it instead.

Note: I added an entity variable named "elggx_fivestar_average" for personal needs.
