BEWARE!

This piece of code will not work for most ahlpabets of the world, only for WestEuropean. Namely,

$title = preg_replace( array("`[^a-z0-9]`i","`[-]+`") , "-", $title);

will kill (emty) pure UTF8-string

And I suppose, override view in theme is more natural way of transforming 8bit URL

I think it works only for spanish, it is a pitty, because we are looking for this fix for other languages too. I was reporting problem to development team, but seems not to be their priority, as far as thay all use english on their sites and this problem seems no to affect them. sad :(
