Do note that this plugin has not been heavily tested. It was tested with elgg 1.7.4 and appears to work fine. BUT, I have a custom theme and modified default CSS. Therefore, this plugin may look a bit screwy on the default theme. On the other hand, it may not. I need feedback to know if this looks alright or not on the default elgg. Thanks!

This plugin adds a couple 'major' functions to the default custom_index mod:

• It adds support for the "event calendar" mod as seen on this site. It takes the latest upcoming events up to a month (31 days) away, and displays the first 5.
• It adds a new set of widgets for users to use/edit right below all the normal custom_index data (welcome, bookmarks, blog, groups, etc etc).

The exact code that displays the latest events from event calendar was NOT made by me, and I take NO credit for that. I just made it work with custom_index. It was made by someone at this site, and posted about in a discussion thread that I can not recall. I can not recall the exact author's name - if you are the author, please come forth and I will give you full credit for that part of the code.
