@saurabh @TahoeBilly I'm afraid it's not going to happen, as the service that this plugin used (embedit.in) is not available any more.
Thanks for your reply do you know any other service which i can use instead of embedit.in.. i need something like this..
@ Andras Does this leave Google docs as the option? Is is there no option? What about box.net?
@saurabh @TahoeBilly I think the only free and unlimited option would be Google Docs for now. There's a plugin here for integrating Docs with 1.7, but hasn't been updated to 1.8 yet. I doubt if box.net would have an unlimited upload option for docs similar to what embedit.in had earlier.
@All
WOW GUYS! I can't believe you missed this plugin:
http://community.elgg.org/plugins/874265/1.02/gdocs-file-previewer
It is based on my SW Social Docs plugin (no longer GPL) However the author no longer supports it anymore.
Regards,
@@ rjcalifornia Hey thanks its works .. BUt it redirect me to Google and open the docs basically users leave my site .. hey did u did any modification to open the docs to ur site only..
@saurabh Really? It shouldn't redirect to Google Docs. That's weird, I don't know which changes he made, but as far as I know, you could open the file in elgg.
I am looking for a free file viewer. Any Suggestions?
http://embedit.in is not working (problem loading page). could you please help me to get this api for this plugin
IT asks for the API where do i get it
