This plugin will display most of user uploaded files as inline (embedded) content on your pages. The embedded object itself is rendered by the great service hosted at http://embedit.in – actually this plugin is nothing more than a wrapper around the embedit.in API for Elgg. The list of supported file types is really impressive, you’ll be able to display all MS Office documents (yes, including the new xlsx, docx and pptx formats), OpenOffice documents, various Adobe file formats and more.
