I've got a problem: there are 2 stylesheet docs in the folder /css/css1.css and css2.css. There's also one picture in the same folder. When I open index.html or index.php (example.com/mod/bryan/index.php), it shows this correctly. But when I open the site (example.com) it doesn't show the css and the pic. Why?

just replace the login script with reg script in the index.php file.
Elgg front page is already notoriously impoverished.
One problem Elgg has not yet solved is an easy way to customize the front page. It looks like nobody has any idea about it.
Do you want to remove what is already there too? A very bad idea. And no big deal from a programming point of view. Sorry.
design your own custom html and then copy/paste the login script. i think that was part of what romeoz was going for.
