What you can do to help:
Tired of confusing, long automatically generated CSS files? Is the !important CSS rule overused in your stylesheet? Do you prefer to just style things from scratch instead of editing/hacking existing stylesheets?
If the answer to any of the above is yes, here's a plugin for you!
The Custom Theme plugin will strip out any CSS from other plugins (that the plugins put in the css.php file). You can then easily style the page as you like, without worrying about overriding all the existing styles!

Installation instructions:
As any other Elgg plugin/theme, put the files in the /mod directory. The order of the plugin in the Tool Administration page isn't important.
Put all your CSS in the /mod/custom_index/views/default/custom_index/css.php file.
Has been tested on versions of Elgg 1.6.1 and newer (up to 1.7.1). Can't guarantee that it'll work on older versions, but if you try it and it works let us know!
