This plugin allows users to login by email or username, it's compatible with Elgg 1.7.2. It's enought to place it in mod folder and enable.

It's compatible with vazco_topbar and vazco_mainpage plugins, as well as with most of the plugins that modify the login form.

Differences between ver 3 and original plugin:

• made compatible with Captcha plugin
• made comatible with Elgg 1.7.2
• made compatible with old login forms
• Fixed redirections after login
• Minor language file corrections
