Very cool plugin. :)
After klick on Save Image button I get this message in statusbar of browser "waiting for www.domain.com and nothing happens.
Elgg is installed in subdirectory. Tested with firefox and chrome. On 1.7.1 elgg.
Capture is working.
Nice idea Lenny.
Just a quick note, if a user doesn't have shockwave flash enabled it causes the page to crash.
I tried this in FF and Chrome.
Perhaps it needs a safety net which checks if user has shockwave flash enabled and if not doesn't show the tab? I know these days most people have it, but better to be safe than sorry. It could cause users headaches and give them a bad feeling about a site.
Thats very weird. I actually do have code in that checks if the user has flash. I tried it on windows: IE 8, Firefox 3.6 .. and mac: Firefox 3.6, Safari 5, Chrome .. without any problems.
Here is the screen that should display when the user doesn't have flash...
Another problem foundl. If plugin enabled and I try to visit a site. It says request redirect you again and again and again
visit a site? what site? .. a profile page? .. the only pages this plugin effects is the edit icon page anything outside of that has nothing to do with this plugin
under intalling subdir, not work. ( ex. http://localhost/elgg-1.7.1/)
swf will post to /mod/photobooth/save.php
In this case, swf must post to /elgg-1.7.1/mod/photobooth/save.php

Hi Lenny,
the latest recommended release is not available for download. Could you check if maybe the access is set to private?
OOPS!.. Yea it was set to private, It's fixed now.. sorry for the delay.
thanks for the update Lenny.
I just tested it with elgg 1.7.3 and on my laptop which has no webcam. ;)
I am seeing a big white image which says, in grey text, "the image is saved, click here to view the gallery'.. Which is unclickable.
I don't have a linux compatible webcam at present so am unable to test beyond this at present.
