This is a thoroughly rewritten version of John Mellberg's original poll plugin.
This one is not compatible with the original "poll" plugin so I call it "polls".
It works with Elgg 1.7 and adds a new widget which allows you to display your latest poll and have people vote on it without leaving your profile page using some JavaScript magic. There is also a widget which lists several of your latest polls so you have a choice of widgets (and can even use both).
