Thanks for promp response. Yes, I do have same database. I have a running site on Linux. Then I copied all the files and database according to "site copy" rules... So, for example I my admin user name and pass on linux and windows-7,XAMPP site is same...

Then I installed, river comment on both sites. In one case, it works(localhost), on original server, doesnt work.

Do you have anyother clues, or check list that I need to check.

Well I do have it running in linux without any problem. I did not installed it in Windows.

hello. i installed this mod -> enabled this but i cant find it in dashboard nor the profile. can u help me?

How can I edit the size of the comment box and background so it is more symmetrical with the rest of the river? I'd like to almost double the length.  Also, is there any way to get rid of the default "reply" which I won't really require now that I have this plugin enabled.  Thanks.

The "Reply" link code is in the Wire plugin if I remember correctly. I did remove that for one of the clients but can't remember on top of my head where exactly the code was.  I'd have to look in my notes as there were many modifications.

you will see where the code is ;-)

The replied comments do not show up on the real pageas, discussion threads, videos, tidypic photos, etc.

My problem is the following and profile user updates , when they show on the wire the comment box stores whatever text was entered , the next time a user updates there profile it spams the same text . 

I have resolved this with profile updates by commenting out the river notification , but I need it to work with following users , any ideas ?>

I love it. Works well on my development site. I can't wait to go live. I haven't had any problems to report yet.

I have a problem. I try to commet but the send button is not visible. This plugin have problems with my themes. How I fix this?

I have elgg 1.7.1 installed and running on linux server. I have installed river_comment plugin. But it does not appear on the river dashboard.

Now, I have copied the whole site (code and database) to my XAMPP@Windows 7, at my surprize now comment works on windows 7!

Can anyone please tell me why does it not work on the my running site?

What should I check or change to make it working?

Maybe there is a little bug on this great plugin.

The river shows twice comments on same river item. It's duplicating comments.

Example:

User A and User B are now friend

User A comments something and user B comments also

10 days later:

User A and User D are now friend:

There is the an User A comment of 10 days before

Try it now!
