Based on the Bookmarks plugin in Elgg 1.7.1 and has been tested for a few months on duuit.com.
Feel free to add this to the core plugins.
We use this heavily and includes abilty to quote from within the site and tweet the quote or submit to bookmarks
The code will be in git soon, for now I thought I should release some of my code.
