Can we solve the problem of IE8  the add button?

i installed you plugin and it is sweet.  only one issue tho. it only seems to search if i use single words in the search bar???  as in if i write "funny" it looks for funny.   if i write "funny comedians", it searches but never finds anything.

any help with this would be greatly apreciated.

hi rjcalifornia, I have a new bug in my web. finally was the server the error, now the pluging run ok.

but the problem is when I add a video in one group, the video is inside the group, but in the cover said that I haven got any video.

suggestion I have is :- It is displaying fine under activity river ( your first image or screen shot) . It playes well even after clicking on play button of youtube . But is there any way increasing the width and height automatically to get the comfort level view ( Just like in facebook)?

@Bujji If you wanna change the size of the video in the dashboard, you have to edit the file create.php

  which is in: Videolist/views/default/river/object/videolist/create.php

It is at the bottom, just change the widht and height xD

Is there any way I can increase the video width and height  dynamically , I mean after clicking on Youtube Play button .

Initially whatever the size currently it has looks good ,but want to increase it after clicking on youtube play button ( Similar to facebook)

PS :- I visited milocker.com many times , But I am sorry I can not understand spanish , except few words ( Komastaas,Grasias,Denadaa..) :)

@bujji Oh that's ok, anyways, I don't know how to do that. The simpliest solution is increasing the size.

I looked at the code

This is what there for blogs and others too , but there we have default value "Logged in users" in our case it is "private"

Hello, this plugin is very good. however in the widget group does not show the videos even though they are there. group got the river and show the videos. except in the videos of the group ... thanks.

the "my video" widget is showing PHP code.

Fix:

1)goto: mod\videolist\views\default\widgets\videolist_view

2)Open: edit.php

3)Add: the text php to the end of the line. Done!

Glad I found this plugin. Just a few questions.

1. same problem as bradock, videos don't show up in groups video widget

2. there is a similar plugin in elgg trunk http://trac.elgg.org/browser/plugins/trunk/videolist

@gillie Yes, it is the same, however this one is compatible with 1.7+, and that other one is pretty much abandoned...

Oh, that other one, doesn't show the video on the activity. This one does.

For the video fix, use superduffman's solution:

the "my video" widget is showing PHP code.

Fix:

1)goto: mod\videolist\views\default\widgets\videolist_view

2)Open: edit.php

3)Add: the text php to the end of the line. Done!

I did do superduffman's fix. But that's about the profile widget showing some code in the settings part.

My problem is when I click to add videos from the video link in a group, then the video is added but does not show in group video widget.

And under "Edit group" where you can activate bookmarks, discussion etc. videos is not displayed.

I use the latest version Elgg 1.7.4 system, The Zingo theme, River Dashboard, autodash, riverfaces, tidypics, event calendar, microthemes, groupkick, messages_block, webgalli_mails modules as well. This module seems to work well as expected when viewed in Google Chrome, Firefox, and MIE 8.0

Everything seems to work as expected so far :)

I can't seem to get Vimeo search function working - both youtube and metacafe work fine.  Here is what I get when searching for Vimeo video;

Fatal error: Call to a member function getMessage() on a non-object in/home/........../videolist/models/lib/class.vimeo.php on line 229

Any ideas on what to do?

@survtime hmm... Last time I got that message with the youtube function it was because:

1. Youtube changed its API

2. Security Tokens

3. Elgg version not supported

It was working about 5 months ago. So I think it may be an API change =(
