<quote> Comments are disabled on the new version? </quote>
Hi, code for comments are written but I don't remember it being enabled even in the older version. If you want comments, you can try to turn it on yourself by passing array('comments_on' => 'on') when calling from read.php. However use with discretion as this function is currently not supported.
Well done for fixing the overlap problem!
This is a great plugin but wondering if it was possible for it to tie in with site wide categories (or maybe categories that are created within this plugin). I'm wanting a plugin where members can browse by category for all published documents.
looks quite good, but when clicking 'contact's publications' it messes up with layout (using 1.7.1).
@n_|1, thanks for your comments. Please send me a screenshot of your contact's publication so I know what to look out for.
I have been following a science research site called Mendeley.
I want to create a similar featured site for a medical research site I have in mind.
It should include research journal interaction, community cohesion and all else in Mendeley?
Is this possible?
@Sagar, I am not familiar with Mendeley but it seems they support quite mature when it comes to journal cataloging. I am sure you can start off with this publication plugin and build upon it to achieve the functionalities you require.
Please i want to know if there is a new version for 1.8? thank
@daouda
Hi, txtan has stopped development of this plugin I believe. However you can checkout the 1.8 version created by ColdTrick ;) https://github.com/ColdTrick/elgg-publication
