I'm not clear about the cron job command. Should it be domains/mysite/public_html/elgg/mod/galliMassmail/
or should it be to a more specific php file within the galliMassmail directory ?
I'm using Direct Admin (not CPanel)
Thanks'
The URL to be triggered is http://yoursite.com/cron/fiveminute/
I eventually got some much appreciated help on the cron from iionly. It was the only suggestion that worked for me. However, the mass mailing of my newsletter to 130 recipients was wierd in that according to the server log some users (including two test users) got thee or four copies and another got none. In addition, the seven users with aol addresses were targeted by almost 3,000 retries. I had to get my hosting company to stop this as it continued even after I deleted the cron and disabled the galliMassmail plugin. I'm not sure if this can be fixed or if it would be better to substitute your plugin for a standalone bulk emailer.
