You can edit the buttons manually by editing the submenu.php file.
I don't have much time since i'm a monk. But its quite easy to figure out.

@Fk.... It looks like a great idea... Im gonna play with that code for a while...
omg!!! i love it nicely done Uddhava dasa, this is just what i was looking for
This is designed for 1.7. Don't try it out in 1.6.1, won't work (unless you disable some sections).
can you post a screen shot of how it would look on 1.7? I mean, showing the riverdashboard, profile, etc???
heyaaaaaah
i've done it
upgraded and header menu working

thanks
:)
great work
thanks to Uddhava dasa
@UD
Nice looking plugin. Perhaps an upgrade can include the "if plugin ('blah') is enabled" call. Half of the links on the menu go nowhere for me because I don't have those plugins enabled. Have a look at Fusion's 3 column riverdashboard mod in the following file:
views/default/riverdashboard/activity.php and see how he does it.
Another option is an admin settings page to determine which links get shown.
Great work for v1.0
How can I make this work with languages files. I know there is a folder for languages included but the plugin is actually not using the language file at all. Even if you translated the original lan.php file that is included, it wornt change on the menu.
Thanks for the add...Very cool!
Nice plugin
my elgg is 1.6.2 version..
Does it works?
Love this!
Hey, your plugin is wicked man. Just not sure how to customize the links etc? Is there someplace to set up those?
Don't worry, found it. Under views\default\header_menu submenu
would be awesome but in my 1.7.1 version when ever I install my entire top toolbar and all disappear. I know it has to be an issue with one of the mods I have installed or with the positioning of the plug in in the list. Unfortunately with well over 100 mods installed I may never detyermine which has the issue with this one.
I've adjusted this to remove all the buttons (because they're already there in my header with the theme I'm using), so it just displayes the online users.
But...
Does anyone know how to change the colour code of the text in the drop-down on the user icons? It's currently Orange, and I hate it with a passion. It doesn't suit my theme at all and I can't find the location to change this text.
I'm assuming it uses the Elgg basic settings somewhere (rather than being an option in the mod)? But I just can't find it.
What mod do you use for photos?
@Luke:
The orange comes from
.bottomtext a{
color: orange;
}
in css.php provided by this plugin
@Oliver:
The plugin is set up for the Tidypics photo plugin.
I just recently upgraded from Elgg 1.7.1 to 1.7.6 and this fantastic plugin is not compatible.
Can anyone confirm this?
This plugin is really excellent and is such a bonus for users to easily navigate.
Can anyone suggest how to make it compatible?
Thanks
@driftwork i am running elgg 1.7.6 and this plugin is working for me........
Hi, i think that i'm having some conflict here, 'cause when i enable it, all the menus and sub-menus stay in a horizontal line... what's going wrong?
Very nice indeed. Thank you! It works with the latest version 1.7.7 of Elgg.
legal, needed only to show who was online. I made some changes and it works perfectly. grateful!
