I have 1.7.6 have installed version 1.9 of the site forum. When I click on a forum link, the CSS goes away. Has this been fixed?

I solved the issue of the CSS going away by enabling the group module. I still see another issue. When I try to edit an existing topic, the text vazco_forum:thread_type appear below "Access type." Any ideas why this is showing up?

Pablo, it's probably a missing translation. You can add an empty translation with this token, it's probably responsible for additional description of thread type fields.

This forum does not seem to work in elgg-1.7.8. There is not settings, and when a forum should be created you get a blank screen where with two words.

How does one uninstall this forum completely? 

Anaphora, for uninstall just remove plugin from your mod folder.

Why isn't it compatiable for Elgg v1.8 beta 1???

I downloaded the newer version and this plugin doesn't work, I would love to use this plugin on the newest version.

i cant see any settings in Tools Menu. Only a save button is there. I am using elgg1.7.8. Please help

I have a problem with the forum.

Everytime someone makes a post to the forum, the system fires out blank e-mails to the users.

@Thuvalpakshi the settings are disabled in the code! Don't ask me why... Just search the php files.

Bellian, what version of plugin do you use - GPL or commercial? We fixed similar problem in commercial version some time ago (it happened on a few types of install). In case it appears in the GPL version, we will release new one to fix this.

I am having the same issue as Bellian with the forum sending out blank emails. I am currently using the GPL version, but will be updating to the commercial in the next day or so.

Edensan, unfortunately we don't have a plan to release forum plugin for Elgg 1.8 in OS version, at least not in a next month.

SO we do not have an elgg forum plugin for elgg 1.8? This is so unexpected from a community framework engine. But thanks for the groups plugin. We can at least try something out of it. Putting vanilla or myBB is just not on considering that there is the issue of theming and SSO.

hype forum is not very good at all. Very buggy and poorly designed. We need a good forum plugin for ellg 1.8
