Built for elgg 1.8
Thanks for testing a few days ago. I believe all the issues have now been resolved. There are a few conflicting plugins that you should be aware of. The first is the custom index plugin. Please make sure the Elgg Mobile is above this in the plugins list (It is is probably best to have Elgg Mobile at the top of the list).
Please continue to report errors.
Thanks. Mark

Hi I am new to Elgg, so be gentle. I downloaded this from here and from github and the screen is simply way toooo wide for my Android LG (big screen). Also I am getting the "deprecated in 1.8.." error.
Is there a fix for this, or is there another mobile plugin that works?
Thanks in advance, steve
Hi Steve,
1. Make sure the plugin is BELOW your theme
2. Try turning off or flushing your cache.
3. Test to see if the plugin works in te browser by putting ?view=mobile at the end of any URL.
If you still have problems feel free to drop me an email. Mark@kramnorth.com
Thank you so much.
Hi All,
Just keeping you up to date. I have a massive overhaul of this plugin planned which will include a html5 version (dont worry a fallback option will included for older devices). If you want to contribute then send me PM or discuss here. The main issue with the current plugin version is that it does not support caching very well. The next version will fix this as well as including additional new features.
Keep an eye out for Elgg Mobile 2.0!
(probably coming on here mid July)

Hi Steve, it worked for me , thanks. Only issue i am getting is screen are wider.
it doesnt work for me. Elgg 1.8
hey. i need some help. I am having trouble installing. Can someone email me at calscoolemail@gmail.com
I have tested this on the default Android browser and on Chrome for Android. The test and other elements are all squished to just a few characters per line to the left. Concievable this could be a conflict with the Pearl theme I'm using. I have tried adjusting the plugin priorities to correct for this problem, but to no avail.
Doesn't work for me.... Activated and run upgrade, but on my android, i will see the normall webpage
