Built for elgg 1.8
Thanks for testing a few days ago. I believe all the issues have now been resolved. There are a few conflicting plugins that you should be aware of. The first is the custom index plugin. Please make sure the Elgg Mobile is above this in the plugins list (It is is probably best to have Elgg Mobile at the top of the list).
Please continue to report errors.
Thanks. Mark

@mark Installed the new version on 1.8. Getting the correct mobile login page but it is still too wide. Login fine, takes me to the activity page - also too wide. In fact all content pages are too wide (for iPhone). Am I missing something? Is there a site I can visit in which it is working correctly so I can see what it is supposed to look like?
Michael
Can you give a page which triggered this? What version of elgg are you running?
need more information in future.
@Mark Harding thanks for fix custom index problem
Thanks for pointing out an older version. I have also run into problems with one other plugin that requires 1.8 and the backwards compatibility plugin is not helping with it either. Think I'll take the higher road and upgrade the elgg engine this week. Thanks, can't wait to see how your plugin works for mobilility.
I am running 1.8.0.1 and after the login page, It then goes to activity and all I get is a blank white screen. Any idea what might be causing this? I have the plugin at the top of the list.
Anyone have any idea's why it goes to a blank white screen after you login?
In my Nokia c2-00, the home page is displayed fine. But with some formatting issues.
Will provide more info after futher testing.
this works when i use the default theme, but when i enable another theme, that theme overides the mobile theme on cell phones. how would i set this to overide any theme that i'm using?

Hi, having same problem as Frank Barcellona
Are we missing something maybe? Does somebody found a solution?
Hey thanks for the great plugin, it's really apprecited. recomended!
Very , very nice.Thanks !!!
Its not working for me...
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare curpageurl() (previously declared in /home/zennu/public_html/mod/mobile_1.8/views/default/mobile/metatags.php:15) in
/home/zennu/public_html/mod/mobile_1.8/views/default/mobile/metatags.php on line 24
It wont let my android get pass the login screen. I hits me with an "fatal error: out of memery (allocated blablabla and then a problem on views.php line 463
Please advise.
got the Fatal error: SecurityException:ForwardFailedToRedirect (my website runs non english language 90% translated) but I found in en.php language file gives an output ¨Redirect could not be issued due to headers already being sent. Halting execution for security¨. then I placed the plugin at the top of the list and get this error: allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted(tried to allocate 19456 bytes) in /mod/mobile_1.8/views/mobile/output/url.php
these errors are only shown in my mobile device, a G1 running android 1.6
I am running into a similar problem (allowed memory size exhausted). It seems to be happening only on the "activity" page (the other pages are not giving me the same error). I have put your plugin at the top of the plugins list, deactivated my custom themes and deactivated the htmlawed plugin but it did not fix the problem.
Website will not run with android. It logs in with my improved version of glossy...
See http://kidspacex.com/ ... and then says view mobile but that's all
Tried on Android device, looks likes it does not work properly
Same here with "memory size exhausted" problem. After login going directly to groups URL works, but not "activity" page. I cannot locate the error.
I'm using version 1.8 but whenever I install this plugin, this message pops up:
Deprecated in 1.7: extend_view() was deprecated by elgg_extend_view()!
When I deactivate the plugin, the error message disappears. What do I do? PLS HELP
I am using 1.8 , have the plugin as the top plugin and get the following at '[myurl]?view=mobile':
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Is there anything on the server I would need to configure differently for this to work?
I have setup elgg mobile on GitHub. (https://github.com/markharding/mobile). Please feel free to contribute to the project or report bugs etc.
