Installation
Extract into the mod folder. Enable in plugin tools and then run upgrade.php.
Does this work with your phone?
Please test this plugin on as many phones as possible and report if there where any bugs in it.
So far I have tested it on Android, iPhone, Blackberry and Nokia

Please make sure that you have create mobile views for your plugin - if not, they will not work with elgg mobile.

anyone else having this problem?:
when I enable the plugin, it works but I can no longer load the tools administration page... it just tries to load and load, but never loads...
any ideas?

Not sure why you would be receiving errors in to tools page. Tried running upgrade.php? disabling your theme?
If your site is live then perhaps you could let me take a look.

actually it all works now... not sure what happened, possibly a web server hiccup... anyways, everything is great, thanks for a wonderful plugin
I can't find the upgrade.php script you're supposed to run. Help would be appreciated.

i have installed this plugin at my site. but this plugin have some problem like as sign up, update status via the wire. i have test on that. im using opera mini 4.2 and opera 5 beta 2 for access.
but that is good plugins^^

First off the plugin does not have these problems - it is your site.
If you provide details about what version of elgg you are running and what version of the wire you have installed, we will be able to help you resolve these issues.

Im running Elgg 1.7.0 and im forgot the wire version. Btw what is the problem can came from the server? because i have some problem when host Elgg on this hosting provider.
Hey I just want to start off by saying this is an amazing plugin. I did notice that when i went to profile on my site it comes up blank on the mobile version. Is there a setting I need to change? Everything else seems to be working properly. I am running elgg 1.6.1

Im running 1.7, and I want to know if this changes the site for both net users and phones or just for phones? Will my computer users notice a difference?
This plugin work great in my 1.7.1. However i would like if there is a blog link for user to post. It will be much more great.
i used 1.3 before in elgg 1.7.1. I upgraded to 1.6 using steps below.
1- disabled mobile 1.3
2- delete folder mobile in mod folder
3- upload new mobile (1.6)
4- activate mobile 1.6
5- runned upgrade.php
however i can't log in to the web using handheld
after few times tried, it's solved
Another one thing i found, in blog's comment. it's seems duplicate form
Login fail when i mark remember me.
just installed and noticed one main issue: it doesn't seem to recognize accentuated letters when datas and menus are displayed on the mobile phone.
My site is correctly using utf8 charset.
Anyone has a fix for this?

this plugin recognises mobile devices and shows a special mobile version that is easier to read and loads faster
I apologize for being thick, but exactly how do I do this? I attempted to login via mysite.com/mod/mobile/, and the login looked great. But after that, it was just my normal site. Please, take pity on the dumb and offer me some insight.

So what I gather (after further investigation) is that I need to create a specific mobile view for any plugin I have installed that is not covered by the mod\mobile\views\mobile subdirectories.
I tried this on several emulators (blackberry, iphone, opera mini, etc.), and for the most part, they all defaulted to the mobile login. This was not the case on my VZW LG Dare. All of the emulators took me to my default view after login. This page is simply the river dashboard, so I'm not sure why the mobile view isn't working.
same casus, i want all plugin installed available in elggmobile. Sample of casus with market plugin. How add that plugin become running in the mobilelgg??? I just see link not form create new or edit.. please help me.

there's a bug. the "Info" page under profile displays nothing. All fields are updated tho..Any idea as to why this is happening?...

Sorry, this plugin doesnt work with 1.6.1, you will need to upgrade to 1.7.1
Elgg 1.7.1 have the same problem.....login doesnt run???
