@juser
Maybe for the timezone. You can try my Simple Datepicker plugin, make me know if it works.
@ SGr33n
I did try your plugin, but the problem still persists. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Jeroen a couple of small small bugs.I am using tabbed display and when i switch between profile types i have to click on the tab for it to refresh or else it keeps displaying the fields from the other category. Also the default category is full of fields even though it shows up empty in the admin panel of the plugin.Is there a way to hide it completely from the user?
Thanks
@Nikolas i can confirm the first bug, and have a patch ready. Could you give some more information about the second bug?
Sure thing Jeroen. When the user clicks edit profile and gets the drop down menu he sees 3 categories in my case.. 1 of them is the default one which has all the fields from one of the other 2 categories. In the admin panel though the "Default" category looks empty. Any other info you want let me know :)
Thanks
@nikolas thanx for your answer. I think the both issues are caused by the same bug. I'll try to post a new version with these fixes this week.
Appreciate it Jeroen :)
Can someone please help me on the date picker issue? I urgently need it working correctly. As I mentioned, when using the Profile Manager plugin the date is off by one day. If I select today's date, the system shows yesterday's date instead.
Once again thanks in advanced to any help
@juser I am fairly certain i read about a similar problem and a fix in one of the ealrier releases' comments. I know it's not much help but going through them might help you
@Nikolas
Thanks for the info. I actually found the post you talked about. I'll try what it says.
Again, thanks for the help!
Hi Jeroen,
I got the same mistake as jimmy9119 , can you help here?
Thanks!
@n_l1 and others...It has been mentioned in previous releases' comments as well a bypass for this problem.it is not something i figured out but i am using it and it works.
Hope that helps....Just want to stress out that i don't know why this code works but it does :)
Hi Jeroen,
I have two issues when using the plugin. First the date is off by one day. I tried a previouse poster's solution but don't know how to apply it so the date is set correctly. The second issue I discovered, is the accordion function is not working in my elgg 1.6.1 site. Also, when I enable it, the User Admin section of my site gets missaligned and the theme changes (I have the plugin ordered after the theme). How do I get accordion to work and fix the user administration section and the datepicker problem?
Thanks
@juser
would you post the "solution" which you cannot get working correctly ?
Thank Nikolas, works fine!
@Dhruva
I don't know PHP well enough to figure it out, but here is a post from westor that describes the same issue (http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/jdalsem/read/385114?release=364416&annoff=25). Also, do you know anything about the accordion function and the theme?
Thanks
Has anyone gotten the accordion function to work in elgg 1.6 and the datepicker?
Hey Jeroen,
Looks good so far, but I get the same error message as jimmy9119 and n_l1.
Thanks!
Hello. Congratulations!!
question?
How can i add a function (for example to send a gift) in the member search.
Cheers and thanks for this great plugin
Having an issue with Vazco_Gmap jiving with Profile Manager and the search function. The search pages comes up immediately and then redirects to a white page and loads until times up. It loads maps.gstatic.com. When I turn off Vazco_Gmap all works fine, any ideas?
Jeroen,
Wwould you please consider checking the above complaint on "Vazco gmap 2.0" and also compatability with other popular vazco plugins like "mainpage 2.5" and "3 column 1.2" when you update for 1.7.
Also please note that your "multi select" drop down didn't seem to save correctly on my 1.7 install.
So close to launching a 1.7 site with some real kick...
I love this plugin thanks @jeroen
Nice work. Thanks. :)
eeeek i'm getting an error when i try to create a new profile field.
"Metadata name is an invalid name"
Functionality of categories and profile type is fine.
Have tried just a basic text box, pull down etc.
Sorry this is vague - any idea's what's going wrong? ...anything i can do to get more details of the above error?
Token mismatched while saving edited profile. Using 1.7.
