  • GregKeys

I get this error when registering

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's_I_play', 'create',0, 0, 2, 2, 'yes', '1255323526')' at line 1 QUERY: INSERT DELAYED into elggsystem_log (object_id, object_class, object_type, object_subtype, event, performed_by_guid, owner_guid, site_guid, access_id, enabled, time_created) VALUES ('18770','ElggMetadata','metadata', 'Character's_I_play', 'create',0, 0, 2, 2, 'yes', '1255323526')

  • @all the plugin is for 1.5 not for 1.6.x.

@GregKeys you used a ' in your field name. I don't check for that (will do in next versions), but if you make your field without a single quote it will be all right.

'Character's_I_play' is the field with the problem

  • Ahhh thanks - the v1.5 not v1.6 explains my problem ;- )... I did end up having to write my own custom code for register / profile customizations for my friend;-)

  • Jeroen,

What is that input for datepicker and calendar looks like in your plugin?
Could you provide a picture reference?

    Thanks,
    Liran.

  • @ Jeroen, everytime somebody tries to register they receive a warning that the 'text in the picture' doesn't match. The trouble is no image or text is displayed. Any idea?

  • @sem are you using a captcha? because it looks like a message regarding a captcha. Are you using 1.6.x? Because this plugin is for 1.5

  • @Jeroen will this plugin support 1.6.1 and 1.7 ? Any plans for it or not?

    Thanks

@sem try to change plugin order. this plugin does not work with elgg capcha plugin.

  • @sem but it works wit site access there is captcha inclusive.

  • Ok, when I disable captcha it lets me register  but I cannot login with the new account.

  • Hello!

I added this plugin to my site. It seemed to work fine (except for the date being one day ahead) and then when I went to 'Replace profile fields' under the Tool administration... A page saying:

    Welcome to Elgg.

Elgg couldn't connect to the database using the given credentials.

Now I cannot edit the profile fields at all. Please explain what I can do to get this back. Thank you!

  • How to work it? Im using 1.8 It doesnt work on my elgg
