Hello
If I tag someone is it possible to see all the pictures that person has been tagged in from their profile?
Thanks
Lee
@Lee, it wouldn't take that much code to do that.
@Pjack - images are stored in the person's data directory. I've never seen a resize failure cause the problems you are talking about. What happened when you uploaded the five images?
@lord55, yes it is possible
@Tidypics Team Thanks for the reply. Could you possibly give me some pointers on where to start?
Thanks again
Lee
is there a way to make it so that clicking a picture links to the next picture in the album? (instead of linking to the source image) - like on facebook.
Think i caught a bug,
My notification settings are only site, but when my friend created a photoalbum, I got a notification on my mail, but no site notification.
@Lee - when you tag someone, the link under the photo points to the page of all photos tagged with that person.
@Darby - someone answered your question a few days ago earlier up in the comments
@prem - sorry - no bug there - all we do is call the core and let it figure out where to send the updates
@drewid - maybe bad ftp transfer? The file you need to check is tidypics/views/default/tidypics/image_menu.php
@Tidypics Team
Thats no gorilla - thats my avatar!
@ Tidypics Team
When I mentioned it was strange I was refering to the text to the right of it...
@jededitor - and I'm saying that the presence of the gorilla shows that you are not running a clean dashboard. (clean meaning no mods or plugins changing its behavior) Since no one else has seen this, I'm blaming it on your mods rather than Tidypics until I see evidence otherwise.
@Tidypics Team - Thanks I'll look at that. I see you mean the person's name. If I click it shows me all the pictures of that person. It also says there are comments, for example comments(5) even when there are none. Why is this?
So Tidypics is only for use with a clean installation?
Its proving more difficult to find the plugin thats causing this than I thought...
Okay I have found it - its a riverdashboard plugin thing and there is a solution posted on that plugins group!
@jededitor - there is very little we can do when other plugins break things. Glad you found a solution.
I sometimes think what we need is someone somehwere with a test istallation with every possible plugin installed who could report if there are problems with any particular plugin...
@Tidypics Any idea why it is saying there are comments when there arent any?
Many Thanks for a great plugin
Lee
@Lee - bug in Elgg. Put a comment on something and the phantom comments should disappear.
@Tidypics Team. Upgraded to Elgg 1.6.1 and it's fixed now.
Thanks
Lee
I have an issue with this plugin. After upgrading to 1.6, in the "All site photo albums", the "No Images" placeholder shows up even though there are photos in the album. Anything uploaded before 1.6 still shows up fine. Any way to fix this? I have upgraded to 1.6.3 but still no fix.
Another thing is I would like it so that when there are no photos in an album, it shouldn't show up in the "All site Albums" view.
@orion9 - most likely due to bug in Elgg 1.6 (and Elgg 1.6.1) related to file paths. Does your username have any characters that are not alphanumeric? A fix for this is supposed to be released by the Elgg guys in the next week or so.
