- ftp code to server (either overwrite old code or move old code and ftp fresh copy)
- go to Elgg administration and clear view cache by changing order of a plugin or turning plugin off and then on
- go to Tidypics Administration (new option on sidebar of admin page)
- On the settings tab, you should see a link called upgrade. Click Upgrade
- Set your settings and press save - you need to press save even if you do not change any settings
New Install
- FTP code
- enable plugin
- go to Tidypics Administration page
- save your settings
Server Analysis - new feature off settings page. Some documentation in docs directory
Want images on your front page? see tidypics/lib/tidypics.php
And remember, run the upgrade link or all your images will seem to disappear!!!!!!!!

Cash Costello did a lot of the core improvements and integration work. Greg Froese did the ImageMagick plus the view counting and related code. Pedro Prez did the initial photo tagging implementation. Others submitted language files. Look out in the future for some great new features from Torsten Wesolek (including a really nice slideshow).

One thing though... My head has been hurting over this for a while now... I know it's a really newB question but... How do I get LightBox or SlimBox2 to work with this? Is it possible? If so where do I start? lol. Completely lost.

found **ONE** problem.
If you'll take a look at my site(http://www.ModelCrave.com)
and look at the "Latest Images" box on the front page. You'll see that the images became
broken images/thumbs. This weren't like this before I upgraded... I even tried uploading new pictures to see if it would show up in the latest images box... but no help there... So yeah could you please tell me what's going on?
hi thanks tidypics team for this plugin....but there is a problem in photo tagging feature. one pop out box appears after i click on add tag . remove tag line appears twice in the screen. one below the image and one in the pop out box.

i found a bug...
if i am on a picture it looks like tagging is activated. tidy want that i select an area and see the button stop tagging. but i cant select an area. it is strange beacuse i never clicked on tag now... if i click on stop tagging there is no start tagging butto... i hope you got me
Folks - bug reports need to include the browser version and what are the steps to reproduce them consistently.

i'm having the same problem as Ben Wagner, when i first view an image it would say "select an area where you want to tag" but the thing is that i've never pressed "tag this photo" button. weird right?
btw i'm using mozilla firefox 3.0.12, the steps to reproduce them is just to go see a photo.
How frustrating - must be a last second change made before the release. I'm checking into this now.
There is one extra } in tidypics/views/default/tidypics/css.php right after .river_user_tag
I'll put together a new zip file. Until then just delete the extra } on line 180
thanks that was a temporary fix but no more stop tagging button. oh well it doesn't bug me as much =]

@Cim - the stop tagging link should only show after you have clicked start tagging. It works on my test install.
Is it possible for you to add "..... Jo blogs has been tagged in the album..." to the river as well as notify a user when he/she has been tagged.
Right now tags are pushed to the river on an image by image basis. What would be the benefit of doing it by album?
(If you're not seeing the river events, you probably need to clear your cache by changing plugin order - there should be a button to clear cache - shouldn't there)

@Cim - button vs link is just a css thing. At some point we will release an example theme for tidypics to demonstrate how to change stuff like this. The element you need to style to get the button effect is #tidypics_controls ul li
@Tidypics Team Sorry i did mean on an image by image basis. I assume the tagged image just didnt update the river because i need to refresh my cache. I will try that and see if it works.

Any chance of a way to reorder photos in an album?
@Dagorath - we moving functionality into an album php object. Part of the upgrade was to create the hooks for that object. It will be much easier to do something like that with the new album object but we have not written code to do that yet.

i just found out that the stop tagging button is on top of the photo lol, i never knew until i bothered to scroll up!
@Cim - we put stop tagging in two spots in case the tag label box happens to cover the lower on
