Your plug in made a significant upgrade to my site. many thanks.

I'm tryin to add more content to it and I find the site message as a good thing to use for that.

now how can I put another site message with a differen content, of course?

I know I need to add a line in the index page and to add a page, (sitemessage2.php for esaxample)

Is there any other thing I need to do in order to get this work?

I have a little css bug: the profile icon is swapping over the symbol of the river item. It happens with foto and video items. This is difficult to discribe, so I've made this screenshot:

PS: Could you tell me how to remove the pofile icons from the river to get it look like this elgg community's riverdashboard?

I am using elgg1.5 and it seems to work so far well!

in .htaccess add this

RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9\_\-]+)$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/community/pg/profile/$1 [R]

b4 the last </IfModule> to make the url link work correctly

where it says community, make sure that is the directory elgg is in.   And this needs to be in the htaccess of the main directory not elggs directory

that is not a bug, other plugins provide their own river icons,  if you want only icons to show and not the user avatars then dont use this plugin, it would be to much work to change it.  if you want to keep the avatars and get rid of the icons from the other plugins, go to the css in those plugins and remove or comment out the lines for the river icons.

its all above, a little reading goes a long way

@Fusioin i have same problem as Gleb the photo icon appear at top of profile icon....and i have moved it below blogs etc as mention in earlier posts

For any plugins that add their own river icons, open the css for those plugins and comment out or delete the lines for the river icons.

i mean a little part of the blog content should show inside the rivercontent area.

Is there any way that on the comment box you can enable that users can also add fotos or videos or other multimedia as well as post comments (whats in your mind like)
Similar to facebook comment box.

Hi, thanks a lot for sharing riverdashboard!  I'm having issues with two things:
1) How can I make the second column shorter?  I've tried what others suggest but it's not working.
2) photo_cumulus isn't quite functioning, Random Member appears but no images show up. 
tag_cumulus works fine so I really don't know what could be wrong.

@maiaet install the phto_cumulus plugin first and enable it. that shoul d work, it is working fyne here :)

I like the design of the riverdashboard, but im not sure which areas of the css to edit, to make the rest of the site look the same. I also had trouble making the site 100% of screen. 

@ fusion How do i go about editing the River activity to display Friends First then All then Mine.
I rather default users to view only thier friends activity with the option to see the entire site.

@dante..  i would like the same thing however i have not gotten there yet.  It is on the todo list!

@antifm..  the pupose of it was to show the user their personal profile page url that they could then have people go to their page with. This was not an error it is suposed to display

When do you think the future version of your dashboard plugin including the option to add photos/multimedia to the comment box will be released. I have build the site but not lunched it yet so wonderig if you are planning to release it soon i might hold on to it. I am still a little way to finish it.
