3 column riverdashboard v0.1
Release Notes
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION!!
This is a riverdashboard with 3 columns and using features from the latest version of riverdashboard. Should be pretty stable, i have more features not included in here that are still a little buggy - tobe released soon.
Works in elgg version 1.6.1 but i think it should work in 1.5 as well but havent tested it. please let me know if it works for you in 1.5
features:
- added view for friends (Thanks to Clinton Van Axle)
- mini profile with user menu (links for izap_video plugin and Tidypics Photo Gallery Plugin)
- added views for Photo Cumulus and Tag Cumulus (requires the 2 plugins - uncomment lines:42,50)
- added a view for iZAP Recent profile visitors (requires plugin - uncomment lines:51)
- dashboard refreshes itself (used code from autodash but not fully working with internet explorer- you do not need autodash plugin.)
If you have these plugins installed open index.php and uncomment those lines.
For any plugins that add their own river icons, open the css for those plugins and comment out or delete the lines for the river icons.
todo:
- fix auto refresh for internet explorer
- add facebook like commenting
- view for your groups
- view for vanilla forum
- cleanup welcome.php
- fix profile stats
- cleanup some css and language
INSTALLATION
remove existing riverdashboard and install this one. Remember to backup your files first! This is a replacement to riverdashboard.
in .htaccess add this
RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9\_\-]+)$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/pg/profile/$1 [R]
b4 the last </IfModule> to make the url link work correctly

@Fusion great work wonderful plugin. Have one question: In the header [edit profile] [Help} and the link just below that. What file I I edit to remove these?

I ahve annotated out line 19 in welcome.php, clear simple cache yet [edit profile] and [help] still appear, is there any other reference to this line?
OK FYI I do not know if it was my set up or not but the only way to remove the reference was to delete the line.

This is wonderfull! so rich with content. I will have to make a few modifications to use it on my site, but it is definitely worth the effort. love this plugin. thanks Fusin

When you say the autodash updating doesn't quite work right with IE, in which way does it not work right?

I'm on 1.5 but it doesn't work with the custom_white_theme.

dont understand why you are getting that. i have not added any commenting features yet other than the regular wire input at the top. that looks like you are using snows facebook dashboard. I will add features like this but at the moment it is still buggy..... working on it

in ie the autorefresh does not work. havent really dug into it to figure out why yet.

this is a replacement of riverdashboard. compleatly remove old one and install this one.

what version are you running this on? I have it on 1.6.1 with no problems. there may be problems with some themes depending on what that theme is overriding
That's the odd thing I dii complete remove the old riverdashboard.. But tell ya what I did test that face book dashboard but did not like it. Something stayed behind... just an FYI for everyone

If you haven't by tomorrow, I'll have a looksie at the code to see if it's what I think it is and post a fix here if it is.
@Fusion yupper you right snow's version and your combined some how. Delete, clear an cache re upload your and all is good.. Thank you great work
