This plugin adds a simple contact page to your Elgg installation.
I was looking for a simple contact page plugin and ran across this while searching Google. I noticed that it wasn't linked to anywhere and I figured it would be a good addition to the community site. I've tested it with Elgg 1.5 and have not had any issues.
** INSTALLATION **
* Unzip the file to the elgg/mods/ directory.
* Go to your Elgg tools administration section and enable the plugin.
* Change the default email address in settings.

@ pansos
as an admin, it it allows you to see members username, and email, very helpful
@ pansos
This creates a simple contact page for people to contact the site admin or other specified email addresses. This is useful for support requests or general inquiries about your site by non-members.
woops, must have been thinking of a different plugin
sorry
@Nick: Nice idea Nick. Could you provide a quick graphic so we can see what fields are available and does it have and "Captcha" security features?
Very nice and Thanks for the contrib!
Great job, have installed it and works great
Do you think you can extend this plugin so it has pop up feedback button on all elgg pages. Something like http://getsatisfaction.com/ feeback window.
This is nice, thanks.
Question: if the user is not logged in, how can I make the login box appear in the blank box to the left of the contact form?
Also, how can I remove the "Embed / upload media" link?
Hi,
I installed this plugin, but I don't receive any emails when someone tries to contact me. Is there antway to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance!!
@juser did you change the default email address field? In your Tool Admin panel, click 'settings' next to the 'contact' plugin name.
This plugin needs updating for v1.5! Any takers?
@acmes get this fixed in the end?
It's the embed plugin that's causing it, so you can perhaps copy the tinyMCE input/longtext.php file into the contact/views/default directory? That should do it...
