Templates for the topbar are available here.
It does seem to work now. Just out of curiosity though, will it have to be kept permanently at the bottom of the list to function properly, or is it just a one-off issue? I've seen several plugins (not used them yet, but do intend to use some in the future) that state they should be placed at the bottom of the plugin to work properly, but obviously not all plugins can be at the bottom at the same time... :-/
The plugin should be below your template plugin in case template overwrites topbar and below any other plugins which change topbar look. Even when at the bottom of the plugin list, vazco_topbar won't influence any plugins which don't modify topbar code.
Fair enough. Thanks for the tip! :-)
Mike, I love this plugin. But it is not without problems. When I first installed it everything worked fine. After a bit of use the chat and dashboard buttons moved down below the topbar. Also I do not have the admin settings menu. Or maybe I don't know where to look for it. It is not in the plugins tools menu.
Elgg 1.7.7
Red Fashion Theme
Thanks, Sonny
Captnbob, since the plugin worked after installation, probably some other plugin of yours which you installed afterwards overwrites plugin views.
Topbar's configuration is available throught tools administration -> Topbar
Well just installed this version and my site has gone belly-up.. I get a partial topbar and absolutely nothing else...
Reverted to a previous version... incidentally I have discovered that this intereferes with the operation of the mail icon in the topbar for some reason.
pretty neat plugin ;-)
I likes this b/c FK's topbar Admin default link used to take much longer to load than all other pages - and usually I'd only be looking for say The Tools Page. So thank you Mike for saving me time and headaches ;-P Though I do wonder when the kids are gonna notice the change and start complaining about the "site being hacked.." as they usually do whenever we change any part of the FK's UI..
Hi,
I have installed the plugin, but when a I tried to access to the activity stream It showed me the following error message:"Deprecated in 1.0: Use elgg_register_menu_item() to register for the title menu"
any chance of a 1.8 version on the horizon
thanks

Waynaldo, we're releasing commercial version of this plugin for Elgg 1.8 on Monday. You can expect we'll release free version afterwards, after we find some time...
Hey Michal ;-) Any chance of seeing a screenshot or two of that ? ThX. You know what I am like !! Always curious and kurious about other developers' stuff - b/c never know when I might learn something/s new. For example - I had really liked your Admin PullDown on this.. Installed it for FBFK, but found it was a little too heavy and so coded something similar but much lighter code w/ pure CSS ;-) The Profile Tools PullDown we used for quite some but then replaced just that part with a (CSS3) Canvas Menu - ThX for the ideas... Cheers ;-P
Dhrup, we'll certainly upload new code to our test server after plugin is released. This way you'll get more than a screenshot ;)
dziękuję ;-)
Can someone tell me what happen to the "Home" button? I have used this plugin for sometime and all worked well. Now when anyone clicks on the "Home" button it takes them to the login screen. Before it would take them to the dashboard.
Where and how can I fix this??
Is there a solution for Elgg 1.8? I want to have a Home Button on my site and I think this plugin will help me with this...
Thank you!
Brandy, only commercial version of this plugin was upgraded to Elgg 1.8. We don't plan to upgrade free version in the near future.
Do you have another solution for a Home-Button?
