One question ... Will this be using my host servers bandwidth? Screenshot please........
yea...no screenshot,no download !
@KenYeap
I certainly look forward to the ScreenShots that you promise you will download, test and then upload. The rest of us will surely appreciate your help with this matter ;-)
@jadem It does not use your bandwidth at all. It is pulling from meebo.com
I have noticed that it will load on top of everything on the page. Not a big deal for me.
To solve the overlapping of the bottom bar, I simply move the widget to the top right position.
You may also wat to make your chat a custom size to fit your theme. I choose 245x350 for it to fit perfectly for me.
This is a very nice addition. Good Job!
what about the meebo bar
I have not tried te meebo bar. The reason this works is the fact that it is just embeded in the page. Not sure if the meebo bar embeds or not.
I enabled it, but where does it appear? Cant see!
One more thing, correct me if I am wrong, it enables chat between site owner(me) and visitor? Its cool but is it possible to use facebook like thing? So that visitor can chat each other...(may be at least who are logged on using yahoo) ?
@Nasim Read the install/readme instructions. Once installed it sows up in their profile.
@Nasim The point was to allow chat without forcing a person to signup for an account on another service. Since meebo allows a person to chat as a guest, there is no need for them to register with meebo in order to chat with other's on your site. Another thing is the fact that it is instant and no other site or software is needed to run it. (Other than the meebo service account you make for yourself.)
The private chat function in meebo is better than the bottom bar plugin. The group chat is better than the Yahoo alternative. The best of both in one widget.
