This a fork of the standard messages plugin from Elgg.

I have done some improvements I needed for my own site, and just wanted to share them with you.

Highlights:

• Possibility to block messages from non-friends (works best if you use friend_request plugin)
• Auto update messages icon in the top bar
• Send to all friends or a friends collection
• Friends dropdown sorted by natural case (eg. A, a, b, C, d)
• Forward messages (to friends)
• Better layout when reading a message (in my opinion)
• Better layout in inbox/sent  (in my opinion)
• In "Sent Messages" you can see if the recipient has read your message
• Users can select limit pr. page and if an excerpt should be shown
• Find messages with users, easier to follow conversation
• Let you select an admin-profile all admins can select as sender when moderating etc.
• Hope I didn't forget anything :-)
