nice one, can't wait to try it out.
looks interesting.... then again your stuff usually is... nice one
I love this one and it works fine on my site.
Just one question: what happens if a member has like 500 friends? how is it going to look in the widget?
O.K. I got carried away. let's say 50 friends.
It will show 5 and a more link to show all
Great plug-in. Would be even better if the degree would show up in the member directory similar to how linked in works. Dontation coming for this and a few other of your plugins later this week. Waiting with baited breath on the final release of your chat plug-in.
great work. installed on elgg1.6.1, so far no problem
Getting the following errors in my pagehandler error log
[15-Dec-2009 07:20:34] WARNING: 2009-12-15 07:20:34 (PST): "Invalid argument supplied for foreach()" in file /home/xx/xx/mod/small_world/start.php (line 51)
Small World seems to partially not work on 1.6.1. The "How You Are Connected" widget is missing and there is no separation of Shared and Others when you view the Friends page.
However, the degree icons (1st , 2nd, 3rd) continue to be shown beside the display name.
@ Jeroen Dalsem - as always Fantastic additions to elgg! Thank You!
ugh this is not working for me on 1.6.1
Its' a great plugin though, I'm eagerly awaiting the next release!
Is there anyway to make it work in 1.6.1 ?
I"m confused...
at /pg/friends I see the shared(0) other(0) with no friends showing, along with these links
at /pg/friends/username I see a list of my friends and these links:
I'm using both your Friends and SmallWorld plugin. Do they need to be in a particular order in the plugin list?
@elgg_noob that issue is not caused by the friend_request or smallworld plugin. It's related to the default functionality of friends. To show what i mean: try http://community.elgg.org/pg/friends
Always use pg/friends/username (until pg/friends can handle not providing a username)
@Jeroen Dalsem Ok, thank you for that. I've updated my links on my custom navbar.
I'm in the same boat as @Anna Bitanga
Not working for me - Contacts/Friends view split in shared contacts and others
Yes, works! - Icon next to username (first or second degree connection)
Where is it? I can't find it anyware - Fixed widget (when viewing a profile of a second degree connection) with information how you are connected to him/her
I'm also on elgg 1.6.1
Solutions / suggestions ?
TIA :-)
I tried it at 1.7 and works ok. I can see friends of my friends at my fiendsmenu, the firs and second degree icons at the profiles, and a widget at the right top of the profiles from people at second degree with me that shows the conexion level. cool plugin.
hi, thanks for the great extension. Is it possible instead of the names to see the images of people in the list "how you are connected." ? This would be very nice.
will it work on elgg latest version 1.7.2b when i enabled this plugin it shows me form mismatched token error. what should i do now
hwo do we get 2nd degree network?
