I had a feeling I was not going to get an answer. I don't know why I bothered.

@Colin: if you don't intend using onserver video, it should work on shared hosting. As you mentioned ffmpeg I guess you want to use onserver videos, too. Does your hoster support ffmpeg? If yes, it should be okay to use it. If not, you might not even being able to install it properly indeed. Even more so: if your hoster does not officially allow ffmpeg, you might get in trouble with them quite soon for binding too much server resources while ffmpeg is running. If you really need onserver videos, I would advice to switch to a VPS plan - in the long run better for any Elgg site anyway.

I tried installing this plugin on my elgg 1.8.11  but i keep get this message "invalid admin setting"! and the admin settings page won't show up. please help

I have all dependencies installed (ffmpeg, curl ...)

All plugins activated in elgg (iZap Videos and Bridge) but it didn't seems to work.

I always got the message : "You can not edit/play this video until completion of conversion process."

(I try to wait 1 day but still under process)

The thumbnail are generated correctly btw.

Can you help me ?

I'm really anxious to try out this plugin but I can't get a key for the bridge from pluginlotto.com. The pages *says* the key has been created but the My API page is blank and they haven't responded to 2 emails. Anyone have another method to get a key? Or maybe someone from pluginlotto.com trolls these discussions? Thanks!

IZAP, I apologize for posting in the wrong place. I actually did install verson 4.2.0b. The problem is not with the plugin - I really can't wait to get it working! The problem is with pluginlotto.com and getting the API key. Twice I've added my domain for a key, both with and without the www, but there's nothing on the page on their website where you should see the key. So I can't get the key on their website nor did I get an email. They don't respond to my emails either. So I'm wondering if there's another way to get a key?

Any ideas on how to get the key from pluginlotto.com?

Yo estoy usando izap videos con exito. Lo que quisiera es que al subir los videos a youtube que se suban a mi canal y no al canal del usuario ya que de esa forma ellos no necesitan estar logueados en google, tampoco tener un canal de youtube.
