hey thanks for your work but why there is a file called izap_videofiles_htaccess in? i see no new lines only a standart elgg htaccess file? can u explain me why the file is in the package

            This file have small changes for php upload limit. This is particular to be concerned with users who want to use onserver option. If you are not going to use onserver video, than you no need to bother about this file.

From your bolded "new features" sound like all is geared to onserver.  Is there any improvment to cache that would warrant the upgrade if you are not useing onserver?

It has lots of update in the core libraries to improve the performance. So it is recommended to update old one. Following are new for offserver videos.

• Now you can put videos from almost all sites. We have added embed tab to add outer videos.
• Lost of internal improvements and fixes notified in the last release.
• We have changed the way how veoh videos was captured.
• More controlled error handling and notifications to users.

Still rocking yaaron ;-) now you've got my attention !! I might actually spend some time trying to re-build my private, family SociaNet sites so that my rather large family of 60++ children ( not mine lol, nephews, nieces, etc.. )  can finally dump FB and shuffle over to ELGG ;-) You're all doing such a great PlugIn but... I cannot find your "donate" button ;? -) ++ where's SEC by Izap hiding ?

when i use the embed feature, instead of showing me a gallery of videos to choose from, it loads the entire video page inside the existing page then forwards to another page that is blank except for a banner from my site.  Any ideas?

         you have to edit the contents of ".htaccess" file with the contents of packed file. ".htaccess" can be find at root directory of elgg script.

 Try to clear simple cache from admin panel and remove view_paths from the "data" folder.

We are in the process to add flash upload. You have to wait for our next release to have that feature. We have next roadmap ready to work on. And really looking for more suggestion and feedback on this release.

i see a few problems:

- deactivate the embed thing didt't work on my site

- tinyMCE don't show the translation for view/hide editor

- is the video in blog e.t.c. function only available if i enabled embed and file in modules?

cuz i dont want to use embed and file. if i enable only embed for the izap in blog function the embed window says administrator didnt activated he file plugin blabla... i hope you got me...

i have a problem to insert video with Insert/Upload MEdia in tinymce.

after I click on the video seems nothing happens but if I click ADD/REMOVE EDITOR, i can see the code embed correctly.

if I reclick ADD/REMOVE EDITOR again nothin.

do you have same idea about this?

We have implemented queue to convert videos. And the issue you have described me is because of the wrong owner of the uploaded file.

Let me explain you in more details. When we upload file from php script. It will be owned by the user of apache server. on ubuntu, it is "www-data". Now when queue is triggered in background using php interpreter. Now this background process is the user of the home directory of your server. So this user have no permissions on the newly uploaded file. So you have to implement "suPHP" apache module to figure out this issue. It will change the owner of the uploaded file to the specified user.

i think i need to recompile ffmpeg

had ffmpeg recompiled and it worked for 2 out of 3 videos,  the one that didnt work got this Error: Can not resample 6 channels @ 48000 Hz to 6 channels @ 22050 Hz

would that have been because of ffmpeg? or the video file?
