I couldn't open the zip even after I took the x off the end of the file.
hi woodward
i am not well with computers but this zipx extension was doen by winzip. this is what it says on winzip website:
What is a Zipx File?
A Zipx file (.zipx) is a Zip file created using WinZip's advanced compression methods. By using the most recent compression methods to create Zipx files, WinZip 12.1 creates WinZip's smallest Zip files to date.
A .zipx file makes it easier to share highly compressed files with others by making it clear that the file was created using an advanced compression method and that WinZip 12.1 or another compatible compression utility is required to open the file.
Of course users can also still create "Legacy Zip 2.0" compressed files with WinZip 12.1 (resulting in a .zip file extension) by changing the compression method on a case by case basis or by changing the default compression method.
you can download winzip new version. if you cannot do that let me know and i can maybe send the files to you by email. actually they do nto need zipping anyway, it is just a requirement by elgg to zip the files.
hope this helps. :)
and let me knwo if there are any issues with the files...
