i have a problem in chrome the number is friend is not showing it goes friends online ( and the rest is not there :(

it is for both, for 1.5 you just have to add a line in the css, located in the readme.txt for 1.6.1 it is drop and go

when i was testing it did this to me too, i went into settings and hit save, initiated a chat, and now it is showing users online. if you want you can take a look here: http://thekidcircle.com its my testing site for 1.6.1

i see myself online with the 2 accounts i have.. i also see you online so im not sure what the issue is on your install.

the dashboard is being worked on, this is my second attempt at it, first one is on my other site and runs decent but its kinda hacked together. This one is being done proper so when im done with it ill probably release it, but it will be a big package as it needs several other plugins for it to work

I have a question about this plugin, when I chat with someone and then open a blog in the same browser then the chat is completly chaotic, the messages that we send to ech other are not in the right order, they are all mixed up...How can I fix this problem??? I have elgg v1.5 instaled...please help

i cant recreate this issue on my install.  i have it on a 1.5 install and a 1.6.1 install with no issues

@douglas, i tried to register at yoour page but got no validation email.  if you go ahead  and activate me i can go check it out.

ok i found out new information. its not the chat bar. it works fine and is a great plugin.

It seems that when a new user signs up and ads me as a friend, it doesnt show me as a friend in thier list. but it does show them on mine(as admin)

Signup a test account on my site and ad DOUG as a friend. It wont wont on your screen, but ill see the ad on mine....

chek your spam folder. it ends up in spam folders for hotmail, yahoo, and others LOL

Im using Vazco avatar plugin which is below elggchat,

Issue is the icons that appear are not the current one. The picture is that which is uploaded.

EG if a user has a picture which is updloaded and decides to select the avatar from standard ones in vazco Avatar, All areas show that new one expect on your chat.

In teh chat it shows the old one.

Im sure its just a code change. Where do i change the profile picture in the elggchat

on my elgg 1.5 with darkelgg them it doesnt appear in bottom..

but on top with error arrange. What should i do to get this work well?

I'm missing the friends online menu altogether at the end of the bar. Have installed on another site and it works....

i have the same problem with the friends online not showing or always showing 0 on my 1.6.1 site.

@Fusion-Bar works great, is there a way I can change the text that pops up when you hover over the close button? "close elggchat tool bar"   Would like to change it to simply "close" or something else..thanks

yeah look at the bottom of the language file for elgg chat..  i think it is the last 2 entries

I don't know why, but the name of friends in the bar are written in grey and not blue like screenshot :(
