does it stay at bottom when cache is on?

Oh, also for my prever elggchat the online/Offline was not accurate, only registered if they were actually logged off, so someone would show green until they logged out. then it went amber then offline.

yeah the cache problem is fixed in this version

tested and works for everything, including accurately showing who is or is not on.

all credit goes to jeroen. all i did was style it up a bit and add some buttons

kudos to jeroen also, umm the only thing I am finding is no sound on new message.

its there and working on my install..  onnly when chat window is minimized

its not a major regardless, love the look etc, only issue with loged in users is if they keep your site page open and go afk then they still show ONLINE and not inactive.

But if they close the site they go inactive then logout, even when they have not logged out.

Any ideas around this? Does this happen to you also or is this only for me?

Forgot to say this is running on 1.6.1

they stay green for me too...  you could try playing with the settings see if that does anything

i have had it running on my site about an hour after it was released by jeroen and i havent had any issues so far with the cache turned on. And polling is the interval at which it checks for data

Really awesome im so glad its here. So far for me in firefox its been perfect i will test it across a few other browsers and report back. Great work Jeroen and thanks Fusion for the styling its fantastic.

This version has a problem in 1.5

The images don't work sometimes and it is losing it configuration.

LMAO I do not know why I did not realize sound was something I had to enable in admin, after doing this obviously it now works, as long as you have Quicktime.

the chat bar does not contain the chat button,i.e,online friends button...it contains only photos,videos... buttons

I'm just wondering.... chat is great but... my question is: is there any kind of chat plugin or messenger whatever you can call it that can show all messages back and force with EACH individual member or friend with indication of was your message has been read or not. I know there are different platforms rather then Elgg but my question is there such plugin available in Elgg.

Great example is http://love.mail.ru/ where you can exchange with messages in real time with as many users as you'd like in separate windows (Ajax). Where all messages with particular user is in one place. 

Here in Elgg you have thousands of  separate messages where you have put heading every time. Or may be I've been lost.

One thing I've noticed; in the original plugin (IE unmodified), the hide-chatbar-button shows up fine in Firefox and in Chrome. In this version, the button shows up in Firefox but not in Chrome. Haven't had a look at the code yet, I'll let you know if/when I do and if/when I fix it.
