hello all, maybe i did miss something, i downloaded the theme uploaded it and installed it.. well the main layout changed, with nice flyout menu but thats its. i dont see any image rotator nor tabs. what did i wrong?

do you only get a text file out of this download file? 

I'm using the latest version of elgg from svn (elgg1.5rc2) and when I activated the theme:

chocolate2_1 is a misconfigured plugin.

You must have the custom_index module enabled to view this theme properly. If you don't it will not display properly.

Darn, it's  not the one on demo site and the image rotator isn't working still for me?  ugh :(

the hassle of the download a text file only to go to my site and download my theme,  SUX!

I installed this theme and is working fine for me (with customindex enabled)......the thing is that all the features in demo site are not in the theme.......

The jquery image rotator in this theme is not supposed to auto rotate the image. It will change only on clicking. It is allready available in the web. If u want to include auto image rotator...download the script from any of the sites providing it and include it in website by adding it to the mod/custom_index/views/default/canvas/layouts/new_index.php page.

@antifmradio what i meant is that, you can add autoimage rotator to your website by adding the script to your "mod/custom_index/views/default/canvas/layouts/new_index.php" page irrespective of the theme. You can use any of the scripts available for eg: http://css-tricks.com/creating-a-slick-auto-playing-featured-content-slider/ 

1. upload the files to your server(java script and css)

2. provide the path to these files in the new_index page above the <div id="custom_index"> tag

3. copy and paste the body of the script inside your <div id="custom_index"> tag.

FOSS is all about sharing the knowledge openly and freely.  No Ivory Towers of Knowledge here, we can leave that crap to M$ and the likes.

Please Help with my elgg, I have Install and first register as Admin is succesfull, but after that register as user (after validation email) can't login, the web loding but show same as hompage... what I wrong or need setting to solve this problem,... or show tread discuss about this,... really help (new bie).

This not the usual way, putting a textfile in the zipfile, but when you read the textfile, you can find the info/download-link easily ;-). My appreciation for the developer/s: the theme works on my site.

To fix the Image Rotator issues move the plugin in the admin-tools panel bit by bit in a higher position (move and look, move and look). This might fix the problem.

No offense to other theme writers, but this one looks really really nice.

Unfortunately, it was apparently not designed for dummies like myself as I still cannot figure out how to make the imagerotator trick works.

@ Jayadeep, sir I did everything you said yet my pics are still not moving (stubborn images!!!)  Is there any other i can make the magic work?

The download of this theme is really version 1 is why the demosite does not match up with the download.  Don't know why someone would do this.  It's rather irritating and I truly believe that this theme should be taken off of Elgg's site.  It's very misleading and really pisses me off that someone at fbschool hasn't fixed the download or taken the time to state that it's really version one of the theme.
