Why removing "favorites widget" so useful in the dashboard! Has this feature moved to another plugin?

Good question. I would like to keep widget manager specific to managing widgets... not add community features like the favorites widget. It is not moved to another plugin, however my advice is to check out the quicklinks plugins which offers similar features for bookmarking community content.
