Updated theme to Elgg v1.5 ie. It requires Elgg version 1.5. If you are still running Elgg v1.2 please use the previous version of this theme.
It also includes css overrides for all the Elgg full-package plugins (blog, categories, custom_index, external pages, file, groups, members, notifications, profile, thewire, twitter etc.).
Once unzipped and copied to your /mod directory, log-in as Admin, go to Tool Administration, and use the controls to move the theme plugin to the bottom of the plugin list (so that it loads last). Making a change to the plugin list order will force the sites cache to be updated - so the new theme is displayed (or you can run upgrade.php to rebuild the sites cache).

fancy, very nice, i have one question though, how to you move everything down, so there is more room for your logo, i like my logo big, :)
Thank you Pete! I'm really thankfull :-)
Almost there pete ... I know you're good with graphics so can you sort me out a logo please?
Then all I need you to do is make me some friends, sortout the text, get me some friends and a couple of thousands users, then you can leave it up to me.
Cheers ;-)
Very beautiful, thank you!
wow! thank you so much pete for this and the other themes you put out.
i also have a question.
how does one achieve the grid layout of the files block like in the example?
very appericative, thank you
Thanks,
that's a nice theme as a basic start for me, just a few bits to customize (bit's within my low skill level) and i can have a nice theme for my site, cheers
Спасибо, Питер!
Great!
Great!
i have one question though, how to you move everything down, so there is more room for your logo, i like my logo big,you can see here- http://gameopp.com
Yea i would love to move down the main a bit as well make the header a bit bigger....you kno what would be even better? If i could get the fisheye menu on this :) someone willing to do that?
This is great - thanks!
i am quite clueless in general about these things,
but is there a way to easily modify the files widget to display files in a grid like in the example?
thanks again
Awesome theme. Really cool.
I noticed that if you disable bookmarks it breaks the home page (spotlight gets munched, etc.) Where's the best place to file a bug?
@deeds, iblood, to make the header deeper in this theme you'll need to modify the theme_pageback.gif and also increase the height of #layout_header in the themes main css file.
@sabzi to display the files in the files widget in a grid, click on that widgets 'edit' link, and change the display to grid.
@db I just disabled bookmarks here on a test setup, and everything is fine. What happens if you turn the theme off temporarily and use the default? Do you still have the same problem? Guessing it's something else on your setup, possibly modified core files or 3rd party plugins causing the issues. If you can provide more detail and steps to replicate the problem on a clean default setup, then please file a bug report here http://trac.elgg.org/
Hi. I'm a newbie in this things, so I would like to ask something. When I install the theme it says to me misconfigured plugin... what am i doing wrong ?
Do you have any suggestions for tweaking the css to make this theme, say, 200-300px skinnier?
I installed this and activated it and the theme appeared OK but the admin menu lost all of its formatting. I tried deactivating and activating and clearing the bowser cache (FF3 and chrome) but no joy. Not sure what to do next. Grateful for any suggestions.
thk u ;)
Hi!
This Theme looks very great, but I've got this Problem "river is a misconfigured plugin." I've installed a new Ellg 1.5 with the German Language and then I've put th Folder "theme_simplebluewhite" in the mod-folder. That's all ... Can someone help me?
My English is not the best ... sorry
Hi Pete Harris,
Thanks for your great work. Could you please let me know how to design our own theme?
-U
i think it is a bug in
engine/lib/plugins.php
find the lines
and change it to
in the php manual i found this:
" It is recommended to use include_once() instead of checking if the file was already included and conditionally return inside the included file. "
Love the theme and can't wait for the rounded themes to make it to 1.5. and going to change the logo soon.
