  • Very nice, thank you.

Already checked, kaltura video integration still broken.

  • @ Phil

It was wishful thinking. I just wanted to save the other penny tossers some change. It is a great plug in. Just enough, but not the full blown.

    @ chambo

You got the kaltura integration setting for TinyMCE working on 1.5? Mine works every once in a while. Setting it to off is the only way it (not) works for me.

  • The embed feature wasn't actually embeding a image i clicked into the tinymce editor for me. Also, anyway to allow more HTML such as object tag for youtube videos and what not?

  • @skot cheers ;-)

@shogun ... the embed in this tinymce is for linked images only. The embed / upload media' feature you can see in the picture is an elgg feature that can embed into tinymce.

  • Awesome.. smileys at last !

One final thing is still needed - a spell checker

  • How to disable the IMG and HTML button?

  • @ Pablo ... Go into mod/tinymce plugin, find views and look for longtext.php ... in there you'll see all the buttons/features, just delete what you don't want.

  • Phil i installed the update and my external page plugin is bugy. The righthand information pan

    Have a look

  • @Ash

    For somebody who says they're "not a programmer ;-O) -- U R 2 smart ;-O) heh heh, buddy.

  • Hi, can spelling check be integrated into it? Nice add-on though

  • @Ash, I wish I could help you but I've no idea, you can see above that experiences with kaltura and tinymce are mixed. I didn't add anything to tinymce for this plugin, just enabled a few of the features/plugins that were already within the default simple (elgg) tinymce.

    Sorry mate.

  • @elggboy ... I haven't enabled the spellcheck for ie (iespell) that's in there because I don't want to encourage people to use ie, but if you want it ... the plugin is already inside the appropriate folder so simply...

Go to tinymce>views>default>input ... look in longtext.php and add 'iespell' to the list of plugins and the list of buttons that you'll see in there.

    That should do it.

I have a spellcheck in Opera that works fine for me.

  • The "place below the 'embed' plugin." fixed my embed issue not working, now its working fine. One other thing, I've tried to add object, embed tags to the allowed tags, as well as adding the media plugin to the tools in tinymce  longtxt file.. but it still strips the code out once saved. Any clues about adding tags and keeping them in once saving? I checked the engine folder and the tags seems to be allowed there as well

  • @Shogun, I'm glad you got the embed issue sorted.

I don't know about the tags, make sure you have exactly the correct characters in longtext php, a "," out of place and it will fail.

Regarding the 'media', I don't know if this vers has a browser built in, like karsten's tinyMCE with browser.

Sorry I can't be more help.

  • cant use this, thing blows up in external pages and in the forum section of groups, just see a page of code where the tnymce editor is. Bummer, i reall wanna use this, Any ideas?

  • only problem i see is when it loads 2 tinymce's on one page, like in externalpages and such.  gotta be a little fix around this..

    Hi,

I installed tinymce. I am using elg 1.5. I have a problem occurs such as if a page have more than one textareas, the tinymce editor will affect all the text areas. I want to enable tinymce editor in only one textarea. So what can I do for this?

  • @chambo and aki ... I can't replicate it ... sorry. Got me baffled.

  • I get this when I i clcik on reply in any group forum, also get the same whereever there is 2 editors.

    image

  • Exactly the same as Ashe's post

  • But it functions ok without kaltura does it?

  • Sorry chambo, I've had another look at this but it's over my head, I can't sort it out.
