Analytics Plugin v2.1

Release Notes

2.1 (2013-04-05):

  • added: Piwik support
  • fixed: possible javascript error in footer, when there is no tracking ID
  • changed: handling of footer view
  • changed: moved some functions around
  • changed: README.txt to README.md for GitHub

2.0 (2011-11-28):

  • fixed: page_handler issue with Elgg 1.8.1
  • i switched to piwik and looked at adding custom variables to the piwik elgg plugin to support tracking of who is a member and who is a visitor - adding the member name/id to the tracking in piwik for extra clarity. i researched how to do it and got most of it functioning.. however, i never quite got all of it functioning.. and then moved on to other issues..
that would be a useful enhancement to this plugin.

  • The piwik integration doesn't seem to be working, the generated js is different than that provided by piwik.

    Using piwik 1.12

Could you maybe explain a bit more ;) (in github please). We have this plugin running for a client on Piwik 1.12 without any problems, tracking around 40k pageviews a day.
