This plugin hides the "Display Name" settings for users so they may not modify them in their account.
Admins can still modify these settings.
If you allow new users to register, they are only able to set their Display Name during Registration.
Requires the Profile Manager plugin v12 or newer https://github.com/ColdTrick/profile_manager/releases
