I can't reproduce it. All works as expected.

Are you sure your server supports the WEBP image extension?

thanks i disabled gd and enabled imagick. webp was enabled while gd is in active. Now its working after I uploaded new images.

Just one more question how to show a larger image in elgg-lightbox

Lightbox is enabled for all images and should work.
If you mean to increase the width of the image in the lightbox, you can change this code on:
